Marie Curie.......... Grow a daffodil

We invite you to join us in growing daffodils in support of the wonderful work Marie Curie carries out.

I am aware that currently two of our Poppets families are touched by Cancer within their families. Our thoughts are with these families as they cope with the turmoil this diagnosis inevitably brings.

Please collect a daffodil planting kit from us along with a sponsorship form, help your child to plant their bulb and care for it as it grows. We hope you agree there are some lovely learning opp...

We are going on a Bear hunt !

This lovely story by Michael Rosen will be the basis of our topic work for the next two weeks. We start off preparing ourselves for the exciting journey,  designing a strong bag,  making our binoculars ( we need kitchen roll tubes please) packing our bags with supplies for the journey and singing our bear hunt song to keep our spirits up!

Please read the story to your children at home if you can, it really is a lovely book with lots of scope for children to use their imagination. We hope they ...

Children In Need Week

All our Poppets children are superheroes to us  but why not dress up as a superhero this week and donate £1 to Children In Need!?

New half term

Lots of fun activities planned for this half term, some of course are TOP secret!

We start back finding out about the children's adventures over half term. Be  prepared for glittery pictures as we recreate fireworks, orange paintings representing pumpkins and lots of number work as we open the Poppets pumpkin shop!
